Choosing an Engagement Ring

For the groom to be, who is anxious to choose wisely and well, but who is also worried about picking the right setting for his future bride, we say ‘relax’. Focus on the diamond. Get exactly what you want to give her, and have it set in a simple 4-prong or 6-prong setting. After you surprise her — and she says ‘yes!’ — bring her back to the store so that she can choose the setting.

Necklace Lengths

To fit close to the neck, above the collar bone, choose a 16″ length.

Beginning Friday, October 23^rd, Atlanta custom jewelry designer Jewelry Artisans says they will  “misplace” some beautiful custom made jewelry… in the hopes that you find it!    Thirty-six of their signature little brown boxes wrapped in gold will be “lost” around the Dunwoody/Sandy Springs area between now and Christmas.   The note on each package reads:

“Finders Keepers!  You have found one of 36 gifts hidden by Jewelry Artisans, within the Dunwoody/Sandy Springs area.  It is yours to wear and enjoy, or to give to someone else! We have been so blessed by our 36 years in this community, and this surprise is one small way that we can say, Thank You!”

According to Jamie Kresl, owner of Jewelry Artisans, the hope is to brighten the day of each person who finds a box.  Also, he says they look forward to hearing from the finders about their experience, and whether the gift was kept and enjoyed, or given to someone else.
