From Sligo to The Style Academy, Miss. Universe Ireland and the Marie Keating Foundation
February 28th, 2008On Wednesday, 19th March the finalists of the ‘Spring into Summer’ modelling competition will get their final shot to win a modelling contract with the Style Academy.
Liam Boland, Artistic Director for Toni and Guy, who recently styled Kate Moss’s hair for a Vogue photo-shot at London Fashion Week, will give a prize of a cut and colour, while Irish Makeup Artist of the Year, Rosemary Wright, will give the winners skincare tips and a makeup lesson.
The People’s Choice Winner will receive a 5 star holiday to include a safari in Cape Town, South Africa. The female winner will also directly qualify for the prestigious Miss. Universe Ireland competition which will be held in Dublin, on the 25 th April.
The finalists will battle it out on the catwalk in Castle Dargan, hosted by Andrea Roche, modelling fashions from: Tommy Hilfiger, Jack and Jones, Mary Grant Design, Eileen Abbott, Vila, Secrets Lingerie, Magee of Donegal, Argento, Mar-Ann boutique and Michelle McCarrol, Simones and many more… Marie Keating Foundation in their bid to raise awareness of cancer and to promote early detection and treatment will benefit from a bumper raffle giveaway including luxurious Holidays and Beauty products.
